Don’t Settle for the New Normal

Look for things in yourself (and other moms) such as the following:

*Not taking care of yourself like not showering or brushing your teeth

*Being quick to anger or snappy with your kids

*Lack of motivation to do things you normally enjoy

*Self-isolation and disconnecting with others such as not texting back or answering your phone

When these signs come at any stage of motherhood, whether it’s postpartum or after your kids leave home, you don’t have to settle for the “new normal”. Please ask for help! Vulnerability leads to connection and healing.
