Do Something to Make the Sun Shine!

Through many years of being recipients of service, Jodi Orgill Brown has learned that it doesn’t matter what you do to help someone- just do something! Acts of service bring light to others and whatever you do to serve shows love and that you care.

Jodi does suggest not saying, “Call me if you need anything.” That puts the responsibility on the person in need. Instead, it is better to ask, “Would it be more helpful if…”. For example, “Would it be more helpful if I mow your lawn or take the garbage out to the curb?”.
